THE HOSPITAL

SUSTAINABLE
DEVELOPMENT

In 2010, the Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace made sustainable development a key part of its institutional policy.

A number of measures have been undertaken to improve performance in the area of sustainable development, including energy savings, food waste reductions, waste management, etc.

The CHPG has placed great importance on improving accessibility during construction of the New Hospital complex. The project is part of a wider policy aimed at enhancing accessibility to the CHPG not just for patients and visitors with reduced mobility, but for those for whom movement is difficult more generally.

The measures taken include:

  • Improving the arrival and welcome extended to patients and visitors at the hospital
  • Informing patients that the work being carried out at the CHPG will not affect the quality of hospitality and care.
